Mission
music has the power to RESTORE AND REVIVE…
... and Equinox Global Missions is passionate about using world-class music to restore good wherever it's lost and to revive joy wherever it's fading. We produce and direct music mission projects and music education across the US and abroad by sending out highly-skilled teams of artists to fulfill our three core objectives– Entertain, Connect, Serve.
Our Three-Fold Approach
Entertain
Equinox Global Missions uses the gift of music to entertain underserved audiences around the globe. Struggling schools, assisted living facilities, and hospitals are just a few examples of the non-traditional venues that benefit from the musical missions led by Equinox Global Missions. We love to take the blessing of song to the margins of society that otherwise would not have the opportunity to enjoy live entertainment of this caliber.
connect
Equinox Global Missions enjoys partnering with other charitable organizations to help connect them with their local communities. Through such strategies as free concerts, fundraisers, and public or streaming events, Equinox Global Missions is effective in making other charities more visible to their surrounding areas and in raising awareness of their causes.
serve
Equinox Global Missions seeks to recognize all peoples' inherent value by meeting their needs through love and action. Entertainment is just the starting point for reaching people, connection happens as a result, and then the real work of service can begin. It's not unusual to see the members of Equinox Global Missions painting walls in nursing homes, delivering toys to children in shelters, and visiting bedsides in hospice. Our desire to serve is at the heart of everything we do.
“Words can’t express how much this mission has meant to us. Whenever your group [Equinox Global Missions] comes up in conversation, big smiles appear on everyone’s faces!”
Ian MacFarlane | Pastor | Living Hope Community Church, Halifax, NS
History
Equinox Global Mission was born in 2014 in the slums of India when Jeremy Davis and Clay Johnson traveled to Chennai, India to help a Christian Ministry with the work of saving the sick and poor in orphanages and surrounding villages. From that life changing trip came the call to use their gift - especially the musical ones - for the betterment of humankind.
