Jeremy Davis

Co-FOUNDER, President

Louisiana native, husband, and father of three, Jeremy Davis relocated his family and the band he founded, The Fabulous Equinox Orchestra, to Savannah, Georgia on the very day of Hurricane Katrina. As a bandleader, saxophonist, businessman, contractor, missionary, and visionary, Jeremy has served across North America and around the world. With a background in business management and entrepreneurship, Jeremy grew his brand to include the multi-faceted Equinox Entertainment conglomerate, and non-profit Equinox Global Missions to serve and fulfill his true passions. While Jeremy’s focus is on leading a family of world-class musicians and educating the next generation, it is Equinox’s Entertain, Connect, and Serve musical mission outreach that he is most enthusiastic about. He and his family attend Hope Bible Church in Savannah, Georgia where Jeremy serves in various roles.

Clay Johnson

Co-FOUNDER, Vice President

Raised by generations of preachers, teachers and singers, Clay was born to inspire and entertain. His love of music led him into the junior high band program in West Monroe, LA, where he met Jeremy Davis for the first time. That momentous introduction in 1987 began a musical friendship that would take them across the country and around the world spreading joy through song everywhere they performed. At the same time, Clay's love for the Gospel of Jesus led him into the ministry where he has been able to share the love of God for over 20 years as a preaching minister. However, his greatest passion is for foreign missions. Throughout his life, Clay has been honored to serve as a missionary in Canada, Poland, Ukraine, Ethiopia, Israel and India. Currently, he is pursuing a Master's in Theological Studies from Shepherds Theological Seminary, and he hosts a weekly program from the driver's seat of his car entitled "Parking Lot Pastor."

David Brinson

Board Member

Born and raised in Atlanta, Ga., David had a technically savvy Dad and a loving Mother.  He pursued a degree in engineering, but also had a love of church music inspired by his grandmother! He learned to play the trumpet at an early age and continues to play in his church orchestra. His professional career involved the management and financial responsibility for the construction of many major building projects throughout the southeastern United States, but his mission has always been to help others in their personal development. His business motto is “It is our business to follow the Lord in simple faith. It is His business to make us into all He wants us to be.” Equinox Global Missions is about meeting people where they are, encouraging them and helping them to take the next step. It is an honor and privilege to serve with these folks.

Kayla Johnson

Executive Director

With her father nicknaming her “Kayla Go-Go” as a child, it was inevitable that Kayla would be involved in travel and missions. She was raised in South Louisiana by a loving and supportive family who allowed her to hop a plane to Moscow, Russia, at the bright-eyed age of 15 for her first foreign mission trip. Her love of service has led her to multiple opportunities to work with nonprofits, including establishing her own 501(c)3–The Zoe Foundation, serving as the inaugural executive director for the Lowcountry Down Syndrome Society, and leading educational service learning projects for high school students. In this most recent endeavor, Kayla is excited to join the Equinox Global Missions team, which includes working closely with her husband, Mr. Showtime himself.
